Sanitary back pressure regulator

This is a back pressure regulator specifically designed for sanitary processes. The materials and structure meet the requirements of sanitary processes and ensure stable control.

The Steriflow Mk95 back pressure regulator is made of 316L stainless steel and is a product specifically designed for sanitary processes, featuring a structure without liquid traps, surface finishing, and compatibility with CIP/SIP. It has a proven track record not only in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes but also in food and chemical manufacturing processes, where its stable controllability is highly regarded. When a simple diaphragm valve does not satisfy controllability, and the use of expensive control valves is hesitated, a self-operated back pressure regulator achieves both good controllability and cost reduction.

Sanitary Back Pressure Regulator FB5C Series

Suitable for processes and cleaning equipment examples, food, beverages, dairy products, CIP, SIP, centrifuges, sterilization equipment, nitrogen gas control for blankets, etc.

The FB5C back pressure regulator provides suitable hard seats and a variety of diaphragms and O-ring materials for aseptic back pressure applications. The FB5C operates by sensing the pressure or back pressure of the fluid supplied to the underside of the diaphragm from the side-mounted inlet. When the back pressure exceeds the set pressure, the load force on the diaphragm compresses the spring, causing the stem to function in an open state from the seat. As the flow increases and the back pressure is discharged, the forces of the spring and diaphragm are relieved, allowing the stem to return to its normally closed position. Changing the set pressure can be done simply by turning the adjustment screw to increase or decrease pressure within the range of the regulator spring settings. <Features> • No sliding parts in contact with the fluid – prevents microbial growth • 100% 316L stainless steel body and trim • Self-draining • No threaded parts in disassembly for cleaning • Spring housing compatible with CIP and SIP *For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
